Purpose Statement To understand business requirements & processes and identify business technology and/or process opportunities, working with business & IT managers to develop, implement and maintain solutions which deliver business value within agreed timelines and budget. TYPICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead / Contribute • Establishing the contribution that technology can make to business objectives using a range of techniques such as eliciting & documenting requirements with stakeholders, conducting feasibility studies, producing business models, preparing business cases, usability requirements analysis and usability evaluation • Identifying and obtaining agreement on the requirements / features which will be most beneficial to the business • Providing input to and/or assist in • ensuring compliance with agreed best practices • preparing account plans, budget proposals, resourcing plans and project plans • creation and maintenance of IT strategies • Identifying and raising issues impacting the execution of strategic / operational / project plans • Understanding the overall Enterprise Architecture and assess degree of conformance of existing and new business processes • Overseeing implementation of solutions – checking against the initial requirements Core Relationships • Enterprise Architects – understand overall enterprise architecture and collaborate to ensure conformance of to the architecture • Solution Architects – collaborate on the selection and development of solutions • Solution Delivery – collaborate to ensure solutions meet the business requirements • Project Managers – contribute to project plans and ensure deliverables are produced to time, cost & quality • Planning – support the development of IT plans and budgets • Business Partners and Business Unit IT managers – collaborate on the provision of professional BA services in line with agreed priorities of the business • Business units (regions, end markets) / Business Functions – work closely to develop business requirements and oversee implementation of solutions • IT functional managers / Project Managers / Business reps – collaborate in the execution of planning and analysis services and delivery of required outputs • 3rd Party Vendors – non-commercial supplier relationships focussed on operational / project activities Role Specific Accountabilities • Business-facing IT experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain • Extensive practical experience in the field of business models, business requirements, business analysis and deep knowledge related to IT solutions applicable to Manufacturing and Supply Chain • Preferably experience in executing change underpinned by IT technology related to Manufacturing and Supply Chain Skills/Knowledge/Experience • Business-facing IT experience in a global environment, preferably with a degree in an IT-related discipline • Hands on implementation experience in SAP Logistics and Manufacturing, implementation experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems such as Apriso would be highly regarded. • Ability to interpret the business IT and functional strategies, understand the Group operating model, and the implications actions in one area have on other functions • Extensive and substantial practical experience in interpreting business process management and business metrics • Understand the background, issues and implications of company and functional strategic imperatives If you have the talent and motivation to help us succeed you’ll find we are equally committed to helping you reach your full potential too.
